Cobra Commander


Ingredients


  • 1 oz. Blue Curacao


  • 1 oz. Lemon Vodka


  • 1 splash of Grenadine



Instructions

Mix 1 oz. blue curacao and 1 oz. lemon vodka (any clear lemon vodka will do) over ice. Strain into a double shot glass. Drop a splash of grenadine into the center of the glass. Shout "COBRAAAA!" in the style of the TV show and shoot it before the grenadine spreads. Best if done simultaneously with a large group of friends!


Notes: I made up this drink with the help of a friend with whom I share a mutual love of G.I. Joe. The blue curacao is the color of the Cobra uniform, and the red drop of grenadine is the Cobra insignia. The lemon vodka (it MUST be clear or the drink will be green) is the "bite" if you will, especially if you use something really nice like Ketel One Lemon. This is great for parties because you can get everyone to be really enthusiastic for it.
